Just before we left Utah Noa attended cub scout day camp. We had to squeeze into a different camp than the rest of his troop because of the timing of everything so I was able to go with him as his leader one day and my mom went with him the next.

Noa has been so excited about scouting since he first heard of it. It is so in-line with his outdoorsy, rough and tumble personality and I’m a big fan of the manners, respect, and honor it teaches. Scouting has been a strong program in our church and in our families and I’m proud to have him working toward a goal that the men in his life have also achieved.

Anyway, here is a look at Noa’s first time at cub scout camp. He is currently working toward his Wolf along with several belt loops, pins, and arrow points.

The camp he attended is called Cub Country- Galaxy Quest/Fort Cub Frontier. He was part of the Great Salt Lake Council with the Boy Scouts of America. The camp is open for girls groups to participate with cub scout troops, as well. It is located in Millcreek Canyon.
