    1. I’ll do these things…but only with you.

    2. Woo hoo! This is great! We’re always looking for new things to do with the kids. This is an awesome list!

      • Thanks Alli! I feel like I am always so excited for summer and then it actually gets here and I run out of things to do with in the first week. Writing it down definitely helped me realize there are tons of different options.

    3. Great list and lots of wonderful ideas for the summer. Thanks!

    4. Hiking timp cave is not free.

    5. You forgot add the American West Heritage Center in Cache Valley. Thanks for all the ideas!

    6. This is such a fun list, and thank you for taking the time to add all of the links. I believe a day pass is required to drive the entire Alpine Loop (which allows access to Cascade Springs) but the cost is minimal. You can park just outside of the fee area to hit the trail to Stewart Falls, though, and that is a fantastic hike. Another really fun hike that is free is the Grotto trail up Nebo Loop. (When I get up north, one of my bucket list spots is Crystal Hot Springs. I love that place.)

    7. I might have missed it but I didn’t see anything for Thanksgiving Point–there’s the dino museum, farm, gardens, new Children’s museum with a splash pad. Good list though!

    8. Hi! Thank you for a great list! I found some great places I hadn’t known of or thought to go. One fun place that I didn’t see on your list is the Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden. They do charge between $5 and $7 but it’s always a favorite with my kids.

      Have a fabulous summer!

    9. Hi,

We are traveling from Belgium to Utah in September and this list is just great! Thanks so much for this.

      Sandra

    10. Marianne says:

FYI, it isn’t free to get into a national or state park.

    11. N. Johnson says:

Thanks for all your hard finding these, and also all the people who have commented with other places to go/see. There are also all the town events/celebration like Salem Days in August for a whole week of fun activities, Spanish Fork Fiesta Days the week of July 24th, Payson Onion Days in September I believe? If everyone adds places and things to do just think of how many more options for the bucket list :-)

    12. There are so many great things to do outside in Utah! Thanks for the fun list!

    13. There are some awesome ideas here! Thanks!!

    14. Hi there-
I don’t know if it’s too late to post Utah Foster Care’s Chalk Art Festival on June 19-20th at The Gateway. It’s free, a great 2-day event for families and I’ve included the web site above.
Thanks for putting this list together.

    15. Rio Tinto copper mine tour. It’s amazing. Kids are fascinated. Also Startup Square near downtown Provo — food trucks, music, art, etc.
