Strawberry Vanilla Trifle

Happy Valentine’s Eve!

14 Days of Love radmomcoolkid.com

If you’re here from Crafty Night Owls, welcome! If you aren’t, I’m part of their 14 Days of Love Series- you can check out all the Valentine’s ideas from the other participants at the end of the post.

Today I’m sharing a bikini-buster, sorry! No I’m not- it’s too delicious to apologize. This dessert is easy, kids can help, and it looks fabulous. This is a great one to whip up the day before so you can have one less thing to think about when you’re getting ready for your special dinner or party.

Strawberry Vanilla Trifle

Layer the following:

-A firm white or yellow cake- I prefer pound cake, specifically this one, but you can use whatever you prefer

-Pudding- I used the 5.1 oz Jell-O Vanilla and dyed it pink with red food coloring (50 drops)

-Strawberries- trimmed, hulled, quartered

-Whipped Cream- you can whip your own or use cool whip, I won’t judge!

I love trifles because you can make a big one to serve family-style or you can make individual servings- the key is to serve it in something see-through so you can see the beautiful layers!
