Today I’m participating in 14 Days of Valentines, hosted by The Princess and Her Cowboys– welcome new people!
I like DIY decorations. They are so much more charming and personal than what you find at the store.
I made these DIY Valentine’s Day decorations to get everyone around here into the Valentine spirit of hugs, kisses, and general mushy-ness. Here are all the projects, broken down:
pipe cleaner hearts garland
-ribbon, rope, whatever floats your boat (my dog bone ribbon is several years old and I can’t remember where it’s from)
-pipe cleaners
Bend pipe cleaners into hearts. Place them on your ribbon.
fabric hearts banner
-yarn, string, ribbon- I cut up an old t-shirt and tied the strips together
-fabric hearts- I got mine at The Dollar Tree, they have a sticker on the back so they were easy to attach to my garland.
puppy love printable
I whipped this little printable up for the party and have had Donny Osmond circa 1972 in my head ever since. Click the pic below for a free download, the water mark will not show up when printed. Isn’t that punch pretty? You can find it here.
Thanks for stopping by- I hope to see you around!

I love using candy as a decoration, looks great!
Is it wrong to admit I love The Dollar Tree. I was just there yesterday. I think I need to go back for some of those hearts!
